Online Texas Hold’em rules

For those of you already familiar with the game, it would be a good thing to know that the online Texas Hold’em rules are identically the same as offline. For those of you who are new to the game, we offer you a quick introduction.

Texas Hold’em is a game that seems to have been originated in Texas, US, around the early years of the 20th century. Although no absolute history can be traced for this game, or for Poker in general for that matter, the online Texas Hold’em rules are indeed quite clear. Hold’em is a game played by two-ten players that aim for coming out with the best hand of cards at the end of a series of five rounds: The blind and Pocket card round, the Flop, the Turn, the river, and the Showdown. The game involves analytical skills, bluffing, betting, and luck.

Basically, dealing rounds (consisting of pocket and community cards being dealt) are followed by bet rounds, and during the Showdown round all remaining players show their hands to determine the strongest one. The final hands are made up of a combination of pocket cards and community cards and a ranking system determines which hand is the best.

Up until the Showdown round all pocket cards are kept secret and the only cards that can be seen are the community cards that are dealt in the middle of the table. According to what each player has in their pocket cards, sees on the table and believes other have, bets would be called or raised, or cards would be folded.
